Front Line Services
Thank you for choosing Front Line Services for your training needs. Below are a few helpful information tips:
Parking
Front Line Services is located at 16 Alice Street in Waterford. Alice Street is 2 hour parking Monday to Saturday 7 am to 6 pm. Parking is available in free Green P Parking behind the Training Centre off Auty Street or across Alice Street in the Municipal Parking lot between Waterford Pharmacy & Waterford Appliance (please park at the back of the lot).
Payment
Payment may be made by cash or business cheque payable to Front Line Services at the course. Pay Pal, Visa or MasterCard are available with registration on this website. Please email us for EMT (e-transfers). There is a TD ATM machine within a short walking distance of the Training Center.
Physical Activities
CPR and First Aid courses involve bending, performing CPR on your knees on the floor and other sometimes strenuous activity. It also involves sitting during presentations and discussions. Please wear comfortable clothing (i.e. T-shirts or sweatshirts and comfortable pants). Please let us know before the course if you have any medical or physical concerns may limit your ability to engage in First Aid & CPR activities.
Minimum age is dependent on maturity level to comprehend the required information for first aid training. Individuals require physical ability to demonstrate chest compressions required in CPR training.
Allergies
If you have any allergies to specific materials such as latex please let us know before the class starts. As well, please let us know if you have any food allergies that may affect eating lunches or snacks together.
Lunch, Breaks and the Facility
Depending on the course type and length we will take lunch and other breaks. Participants are welcome to eat at the Training Centre which is equipped with a fridge, microwave and a hot water kettle for your use. Waterford does offer a wide range of different food establishments within walking distance. Bottled water is available for 25₡ in the fridge downstairs.
Cell Phones, Tablets and Laptops
You are free to bring your electronic devices as long as you have them on vibrate or off during class work. There will be time during breaks to check your devices. Anyone continually texting or interrupting the class with phone calls will be ask to leave. You may wish to follow along using the Red Cross First Aid App ( redcross.ca/apps ) on your tablet or computer.
