Front Line Services – Training Partners with the Canadian Red Cross

Class Size Requirements:

• Minimum class size = 4
• Maximum class size = 12 (max. of 12 is dependent on location size)
• Maximum class size at our training facility = 12  (There is no fee to train at our location.)

Standard First Aid – Traditional Learning:

• Two days in class 8:30am – 4:30pm

• Cost – please add HST to all numbers:
  • Individual Fee (enroll in one of our Open Courses offered at our site) = $139 /person
  • Corporate Fee = $700 Course Fee + $45.00 / person certificate & supplies fee 

Standard First Aid – Blended Learning:     

• On-line theory portion completed at home or at work – 6-8 hours to complete on-line
  • Does not need to be done all at once, on-line program will save progression
  • MUST be completed before the in-class portion
• In-class portion – 1 full day – 8:30am – 5:00pm
  • Hands on portion with review of theory
  • Upon completion full 3 year certificate issued

  • Corporate Fee = $450 Course Fee + $45.00 / person certificate & supplies fee

Standard First Aid – Recertification:

• Participant MUST have a valid Red Cross Standard First Aid Certification – must be re-certified before expiry.
• Previous course required to be the full 16 hour course – not a recertification course.
• One day in-class 8:30am – 5:00pm

  • Corporate Fee = $450 Course Fee + $45.00 / person certificate & supplies fee

Emergency First Aid:

• One day in-class 8:30am – 4:30 pm

• Cost – please add HST to all numbers:
  • Individual Fee (enroll in one of our Open Courses offered at our site) = $100 /person
  • Corporate Fee = $425 Course Fee + $45.00 / person certificate & supplies fee

CPR-C:

• Full course = 5 hours
• Recertification Course = 3.5 hours
• Intended level for layperson participants
• 3-year certification

  • Individual Fee (enroll in one of our scheduled Open Courses) = $40 /person
  • Corporate Fee = $160 Course Fee + $24 / person certificate & supplies fee

BLS CPR:

• Full course = 4 hours
• Recertification Course 2.5 hours
• Intended for participants working in Health Care/Medical positions
• 1-year certification

• Cost – please add HST to all numbers:
  • Individual Fee (enroll in one of our scheduled Open Courses) = $45 /person
  • Corporate Fee = $165 Course Fee + $24 / person certificate & supplies fee

Training On-site at a Business:

• On-site fee = $100.00 – depending on location distance from Norfolk County may be more.
• We require access to the site ½ hour before the course and ½ hour after the course to set up and take down the equipment.
• Training completed on-site requires 100% participation.  Employees will not be able to leave the training to attend to workplace matters.
• The location for the training must be dedicated to training for the timeframe of the course.  It cannot be a public/workplace use location or a location where individuals who are not involved in the training course are required to access throughout the day.
• The space must be large enough to accommodate a seating area with space to participate in theory learning and writing as well as open floor space to work on the ground with a manikin.  A boardroom with a large table and minimal floor space will usually not accommodate the training area required.
• There is ground work required in the course.  To keep our equipment in good working condition the area must be a clean dry location.
